Roberts Elementary - Soaring to the Pinnacle of Excellence

Roberts Elementary - Soaring to the Pinnacle of Excellence

Summary

Roberts Elementary, in our eighth year of operation, is a diverse family of dedicated students, educators, and community members who collaborate and support each other in our commitment to excellence in education. With over 20 languages spoken across all grade levels, our students are culturally diverse and come with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Through formative assessments, tailored and differentiated intervention strategies, and lots of love and encouragement, we take a "whole child" approach to learning. We disaggregate data to drive our academic plans and decisions, but we never look at our students as just numbers on a page. We watch our students bloom, grow, and take ownership of their education. Technology is readily accessible across our school and used as a tool to enhance and extend knowledge. Through an environment of project-based learning, student choice, and multiple extracurricular activities, we are building a place where children can explore their gifts and talents, discover the world, and open their minds to the possibility of their future while striving to "always do the right thing!"
