Norma Linda Trevino Elementary School - Edinburg, TX

Norma Linda Trevino Elementary Upper Classmen. Bengal Pride!!!
Norma Linda Trevino is rooted in Edinburg, Texas, and is one of forty-two schools within the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District (ECISD). Our vision statement is, "All students will experience success through teamwork and dedication." High expectations and support from staff, students, parents, and the community make this vision a reality.
In educating the whole child, the staff utilizes the 5E Model for the delivery of instruction with scaffolding for rigor and differentiation. Our library contains a multitude of genres which strengthen students' literary skills. Learning is enriched through the use of various technologies and applications, with the, "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD) initiative. Our Music and Physical Education programs expose students to a variety of future possibilities. The Music program focuses on both instrumental and choral learning with student performances throughout the year. The Physical Education program supports movement, wellness, and character education, as well as classroom lesson extensions. Throughout the year, N.L.T. provides a building block for students to participate in a variety of community service projects which develop lifelong compassionate citizens.
It is with a combined commitment, that we can educate the whole child and set high expectations where we build a foundation for successful, productive individuals for the future.
