AMBS Prayer Partners help lead a school Prayer Circle

AMBS Prayer Partners help lead a school Prayer Circle

The Academy of the Most Blessed Sacrament prides itself in the infusion and incorporation of the Catholic faith in a variety of ways. Although students receive daily formal instruction in religion, the practice, exploration, and reinforcement of the faith occurs many times a day in planned events. Prayer Partners link the younger children with older student role models who form a buddy system of sorts for the practice of the faith and other curricular and extracurricular events. Prayer Circles are held almost weekly where Prayer Partners meet and the school as a whole participates in an organized, student created and student led prayer service.

Not only do these practices strengthen the school's mission as a Catholic School, they provide reinforcement for creating a welcoming culture and climate that does not know age as an obstacle or border. The socio-emotional benefits create a school atmosphere where all are welcome, accepted, and valued. The students are proud of the sense of community and their involvement in and commitment to the school. In addition, students at AMBS have extensive opportunities throughout the school year to participate in outreach programs to help those less fortunate, providing lifelong lessons in empathy.

With this strong positive culture in place, students thrive in an educational environment where a dedicated faculty and staff help each child to receive a superior education in a caring Catholic environment. Students are guided through a personal journey of faith, education, and service in order to reach their God given potential.
