An array of field trips, on-campus events, and service projects enhance the curricular units at Central.

As we enter our 59th year, Central Christian School is widely identified as an academic competitor. And while we have been thoughtful and diligent in our efforts to plant seeds of meaningful improvement in our school, we humbly recognize that God has produced the increase. We are thankful to the Lord for establishing His vision for our school, growing our enrollment 60% over the last decade, as well as our diversity to 34% students of color.

Central is committed to educating a uniquely diverse group of students equitably, with purposeful excellence, to prepare them to engage a changing world for Jesus Christ.

With this in mind, we are asking new questions about how our diversity should inform our practices as a school. Research indicates that by being exposed to varied outlooks, students and educators are challenged to think more critically to enable them to navigate a changing world. Thus, we strive to teach them to understand themselves and their uniqueness, while simultaneously seeking to understand the perspectives and needs of the "other" in their classroom, neighborhood, city and the world.

We aim at Central Christian School to lay the firm foundation of our city and nation's future thought-leaders and change-agents. Our journey is fresh, but we are motivated and inspired to see the Lord's redemption lived out in our society-striving toward unity through our vision of being a Gospel-driven, academically excellent community for each unique image-bearer of God.
