Dodson is located in Canton, a suburb nestled between Detroit and Ann Arbor, Michigan. The community we serve is diverse, consisting of students from multiple cultures speaking many different languages. Dodson is staffed by outstanding teachers, who possess advanced degrees, complemented by many years of teaching experience. Teachers and support staff practice the most cutting edge research-based instructional techniques. Students are fortified with a rigorous curriculum, which places emphasis on attaining basic skills and applying those skills to problem solving situations. Our students are equipped with one-to-one devices, which enhance the growth learning mindset. We are proud of our excellent standardized state test scores, which rank us in the top 5% of high achieving schools in the entire state of Michigan.
