Every day is a great day at Madison Preparatory Academy!

Madison Preparatory Academy is a part of the Community School for Apprenticeship Learning Incorporated Charter School Organization in Baton Rouge, Louisiana serving students in grades nine through twelve. Opening just eight years ago with 89 students, Madison Prep's enrollment has soared to 525. Madison Prep nurtures students' hopes and transforms them into possibilities by serving their interests, encouraging enthusiasm for learning and life and maintaining high expectations across the curriculum. We strengthen and support our students by helping them cultivate the best in themselves and the Greater Baton Rouge Community.

Students at Madison Preparatory Academy are being prepared to compete locally, nationally and internationally with strategies which enhance 21st-century skills. This oasis of achievement thrives in an area plagued by high crime, astounding rates of adult illiteracy, increasing teenage pregnancy cases, and rising high school dropout rates. High expectations are the reality of Madison Preparatory Academy, a beacon for students seeking to prepare for higher education. We pride ourselves in making certain that students assume responsibility for their education.
