Middle School Robotics Class

Middle School Robotics Class

St. George Catholic School is one of the largest elementary schools in the Diocese of Baton Rouge educating over 1,090 students in kindergarten through grade eight. A mission of Faith, Knowledge and Stewardship is infused within the daily operations of the school, giving teachers and students a guide to focus on academic and personal excellence, faith formation, and community service. Excellence in academics is driven by a commitment to student learning. Through the implementation of research-based methods and curriculum mapping, each child is nurtured and encouraged to meet their potential. Students participate in activities that develop a sense of family and belonging, allowing them to identify with the school/parish and its values. Strong faculty collaboration results in constant improvement of instructional strategies, data-driven decision making, and the use of technology by students and teachers. Along with regular instruction in core subjects, all students receive instruction in religion, technology art, foreign language, physical education, and music. Beginning in fourth grade, students may participate in extra curricular sports and a growing performing arts program. This comprehensive approach, facilitated by a committed student-centered faculty and parental engagement, challenges students to achieve their highest potential. St. George Catholic School supports an atmosphere where all stakeholders are valued, giving St. George the feel of a warm nurturing environment for all.
