NBRS Badge for Northpoint Elementary School

Northpoint Elementary School - Granger, IN

Northpoint Stars shine brightly in every learning opportunity.

Northpoint "Stars" shine brightly in every learning opportunity.

Imagine a place or state of being in which everything is perfect. Although this vision is not something one personally encounters on a daily basis, one who examines the academic learning environment at Northpoint Elementary School would classify it as close to perfect, as close to a utopia, as possible.

Located in Northern Indiana, Northpoint is an incredible place, where a strong, dedicated, hands-on approach to learning exists. Teachers consistently and continuously instill a can-do attitude in our children. Using formative assessments, teachers are able to pinpoint the needs of each child. Teaching is data-driven and infused with high expectations. At the same time, we value the arts and how a well-rounded education can enrich a child's life.

The belief that "It takes a village" is truly understood and applied at Northpoint. Our student population is a snapshot of the world's diversity and culture. We celebrate these unique differences and teach our students to value and respect all. Our success is tied to the strong partnership formed between students, teachers, and parents. Northpoint embodies this "Triangle of Success," Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation's formula for student achievement. Our teachers, staff, administration, and parents support one another and all students to ensure every Northpoint "Star" realizes their fullest potential. We meet children where they are and help them to excel and shine. Recognized as a Blue Ribbon School in 2010, we continue to examine our practices for ongoing growth. Northpoint is like a dream come true; excellence is exemplified here.
