Vista, a STEM-focused learning community, where Together Everyone Achieves More

Vista Fundamental School is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) focused learning community committed to high educational achievement by all students. Vista provides students with support and challenge throughout their educational program. All four STEM disciplines and the California Academic Standards are woven together seamlessly to support students on their journey to becoming innovative and real world problem solvers. Vista faculty are lifelong learners who are committed to the acquisition of knowledge, collaboration with colleagues, and professional accountability. Our school's motto, TEAM Vista, Together Everyone Achieves More, has been the cornerstone of our success and exemplifies the dedication of all staff, parents, and students to achieving academic excellence. The partnership between home and school is a crucial attribute of the Vista philosophy. Each year, all stakeholders affirm their dedication to our students through the Commitment to Excellence document which highlights the school's mission and the individual responsibilities of parents, students, and staff. Parent commitment and participation play an integral part in Vista Fundamental School's success. With thousands of parent volunteer hours logged each year, Vista's parents are as passionate about the students' success as the faculty. Additionally, parents are actively involved in the PTA, School Site Committee, and Vista 21 STEM Committee which have supported the development of our STEM Lab, Makerspace, and technology advancements. Preparing our students for the demands of the 21st century is a challenge embraced by the entire Vista community where Together Everyone Achieves More.
