Grandview Elementary School - Grandview, TX

Every day, everywhere, every moment, Zebras Care!
Grandview Elementary is a rural school south of Fort Worth. We share with our community the responsibility for the education of all students. Grandview Elementary is a Title I Reward Campus with 494 students. We are rich in tradition with our elementary University Interscholastic League academic teams being successful for over 25 years. The Zebra Strings violin program and ZZ Skippers National Jump Rope and Demonstration Team bring a unique side of knowledge for all students that enhances excellence for a well-rounded education. Grandview Elementary sees their mission as: to provide a nurturing environment for positive self-esteem; to create rich, varied experiences in curricular learning that accommodates different learning styles; to build a cooperative link between home, school, and community, recognizing the unique rural community which we serve and to encourage and give the opportunity and support to achieve their greatest potential through the establishment of high expectations. Acceleration of learning is provided for all students through our after school tutorials, full day prekindergarten program, and reading specialist in dyslexia and response to intervention. The Zebra Care program develops successful service-oriented community members through leadership. Staff are actively engaged in learning and applying best practices with an emphasis on Sean Cain’s “Fundamental Five” strategies in the classroom. Technology and science surrounds the students daily with unique hands-on interactive learning experiences. Our motto sets what we as Grandview Elementary Zebras believe each day, “Every day, everywhere, every moment Zebras Care!”
