“Work Hard. Play Hard.” is the motto of Country Place (CP) Elementary and the CP Eagles know it well! At Country Place, students learn early on that all will be held to high academic standards, challenged to think beyond the walls of the classroom, and encouraged to improve no matter where they begin. Traits such as perseverance, grit, effort, empathy, and optimism are valued equally with academic progress and growth. CP Eagles are not simply getting an education, they are becoming leaders. Staff ensure that the needs of each child are met through thoughtful differentiation and a growth mindset. CP staff believes every child can learn, motivation matters, and what is fair and appropriate for one student may look very different than what meets the needs of another student. Staff pride themselves on knowing each individual student. At Country Place, the mindset of the staff is to provide an environment that is academically challenging for all students and to differentiate so that every child is challenged and every child is learning. This can-do mentality is what enables all students to make academic gains.

CP Eagles also know that hard work is rewarded and life is fun! Staff and PTA ensure the students have many opportunities to play hard, build community, and celebrate success. Country Place is known for a welcoming environment and supportive community which enables the students to have a well-rounded school experience. Eagles work hard and play hard, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
