Canyon is a thriving small town with a population of approximately 15,000 residents that lies in the heart of the Texas Panhandle. Canyon Intermediate School, home of the Rocky Eagles, serves 600 fifth and sixth grade students in an upper-elementary setting, providing a transition between elementary and junior high.
