Lower Milford Elementary School is one of three elementary schools in the Southern Lehigh School District, located approximately 50 miles north of Philadelphia in the Lehigh Valley. Lower Milford has approximately 130 students in kindergarten through third grade and is located in the southern part of the district surrounded by farmlands. As a district, we are committed to empowering our students to be successful in a global society. We pride ourselves on creating an educational program that is known for its excellence and forward-looking perspective, which is sensitive to the changing needs of its students. The community, faculty, parents, and students have joined together in striving to maintain and enhance that excellence. We educate all of our students to maximize their potential and to develop personal tools to become life-long learners and productive members of an ever-changing world. Our instructional programs, such as Response to Instruction and Intervention, Positive Behavior Supports, and our 1:1 technology initiatives, focus on the success of every child and exemplify this pursuit of excellence. We believe that learning should be fun, and we have many activities that celebrate our hard work and academic achievements. The students' favorite of these is a day where students who have reached their reading goals can enjoy all kinds of games that involve water. Teaching and learning at Lower Milford has been enhanced by great instructors, a sound curriculum, and a dedicated community where everyone is behind the efforts of our students.
