Bentworth High School educates approximately 400 students and is staffed by 30 highly-qualified teachers and ten support personnel. Our school has encountered recent success by increasing the achievement of all students. Specific strategies were developed to support students who were identified as economically disadvantaged or who required special education services.

Our school’s small size allows us to build relationships with students, parents, and the community that make it possible to offer a high level of personalized support to all students. The addition of an Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program provides a unique opportunity for students to remain in regular education classes while receiving mental health support from licensed personnel. An in-house guidance counselor, social worker, and school psychologist support student needs. Our school has added inclusion and co-taught classes in an effort to close the achievement gap.

Bentworth students also have access to many opportunities that are unique to a school our size. Accelerated courses, including six Advanced Placement courses in all four core areas are offered. Varsity sports, cultural trips, arts, and music programs are available to help build a sense of community within the school.

At Bentworth, we believe we must act as advocates for all students by working together to improve academic and social behaviors both in and outside the school building.
