Sig Rogich Middle School - Las Vegas, NV

Students and Principal Harrison visiting with our school

Students and Principal Harrison visiting with our school's namesake, Mr. Sig Rogich.

Sig Rogich Middle School, designated as 5-Star School for the past four years by the Department of Education, takes pride in training students to become career- and college-ready through rigorous inquiry-based learning. As part of the fifth largest urban school district in the country, Sig Rogich is recognized as the top middle school in the state and the only middle school in Las Vegas to close the achievement gap in both math and English Language Arts. Through a clear and shared focus, a supportive learning environment, high expectations for all students, commendatory levels of family and community involvement, and the development of a school culture where over 75% of the population is also involved in fine arts and non-academic endeavors, Sig Rogich has become a high performing school. At Sig Rogich, anything is possible with hard work and dedication. Through structured and continuous collaboration, our school has developed a culture for learning that is embedded in every aspect of the school. To meet the needs of all learners, we have developed a shared commitment to the mission and goals of the school and shared responsibility for student development and success. The extended day schedule at Sig Rogich Middle School provides students with access to teachers for additional support, allows students to participate in high school level classes, and permits students to take additional elective courses. Focusing on 21st Century technology, in conjunction with inquiry based learning, provides students a rigorous education that prepares them for the future.
