Rock Ridge School is a Title I school located in the heart of the Rock Ridge Community in Wilson County, North Carolina. It is a small, diversely populated community that thrives on the belief that all children will learn in a safe nurturing learning environment which involves teachers, parents, and the community all working together for the continual development of the whole child.

Strong leadership and community support are key components that lead and sustain our high student achievement. The school serves as the hub of activities for both students and the community. Our keys to success are rigorous curriculum, high academic standards, and partnerships with parents, which foster a sense of well-being for each child. With a significant Hispanic population, our school overcomes language barriers with interpreters and bilingual communication for parents. Parents from all socioeconomic levels take pride in our success and are active volunteers.

Rock Ridge is extremely proud of its longstanding high academic performance and high student academic growth. Recognized as a School of Excellence or School of Distinction for at least 14 consecutive years by our state, our students have met the standards for AYP every year since its inception in North Carolina. Other accolades include Hallmark School of Excellence, Top 15 Title I school in North Carolina, and a NC REAL DEAL school. Collaboration and dedication among staff, students, and community make Rock Ridge truly an exceptional environment to develop young minds and prepare them for their futures in the 21st century.
