Our Lady of Lourdes School - Bethesda, MD

Students, Teachers and Parents of Our Lady of Lourdes School say Good Morning!

Students, Teachers and Parents of Our Lady of Lourdes School say "Good Morning!"

Following the example of the founding Sisters of Saint Francis, Our Lady of Lourdes School is a diverse and inclusive school, welcoming students with special learning needs, children of many ethnicities, and families with many different economic situations. Teachers and parents partner to support children as they become young men and women of faith, excellence, and service. Recognizing that peace and charity begin at home, the students of Our Lady of Lourdes School are asked each day to “see the Face of God” in their classmates, teachers, family members, and in those they encounter in the larger community.

Parents and teachers create a sense of family as they work together to educate children to love learning. High expectations are held for every child, and this ensures that each child at Our Lady of Lourdes School becomes the best student and person that he or she can be. Children are taught that there is great dignity in hard work, and they learn to accept responsibility for their own success. The continued academic success of the students of Our Lady of Lourdes School is strong evidence that inclusive classrooms are good for ALL students and that a collaborative and caring learning environment fosters personal and intellectual growth.
