The commitment of our staff to academic excellence is what makes Centerton Elementary a great place for children to thrive and learn. We take pride in our achievements and hold ourselves and our students to the highest of standards.
Our leading strength as a staff, aside from our dedication, is our ability to cross-collaborate in order to pinpoint student's needs. Our response to intervention teams meet bi-weekly to discuss intervention strategies for children who display weaknesses in areas, based on data-driven evidence. Also, common RTI times within our grade levels allow students to receive tiered interventions that incorporate the five critical components of reading. These events help every one of our students to be successful.
Family and community involvement is fundamental to a child's success. Our school has a reputation for excellence, and our parents and community assist in preserving this reputation.
At Centerton, we make families stakeholders in their child's education. Our school utilizes Skyward as a web-based reporting system to inform parents of grades, missing assignments, and attendance. As technology continues to become more crucial in everyday communication, we continue to keep trend with classroom websites. Classroom websites offer parents additional resources to be active participants in their child's education.
High expectations, communication, and parent involvement are what make Centerton the outstanding school it is. Our principal and teachers work daily to instill motivation and dedication in each of our students and to preserve the wonderful climate of Centerton Elementary.
