Located in suburban Granger, Indiana, Saint Pius X Catholic School is the largest parochial school in the area, educating over 600 children in preschool through grade eight. Since opening in 2008, a community has evolved, focused on the Gospel Values of respect, responsibility, compassion, teamwork, and honesty. Saint Pius cultivates an environment that bonds students through a common value structure reflecting peace, mercy, justice, and love. The Catholic faith is regularly celebrated at Mass and special liturgies. A school-wide stewardship program teaches Catholic values and moral responsibility.

Saint Pius has a history of high academic standards and student success, consistently being ranked as a grade “A” school and awarded multiple four-star ratings by the State.

Saint Pius offers a humanities program with regular instruction for all students in religion, technology, Spanish, art, physical education, and music. Starting in fourth grade, students may participate in band, performing in concerts and State competitions. An annual art fair features over 3,000 pieces of student artwork. This comprehensive approach facilitated by a committed, student-centered faculty, challenges children to achieve their highest potential.

Painted on the wall of the school hallway are the words, “…so we though many, are one body in Christ, and individually parts of one another. Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us exercise them”-Romans 12:5-6. The school embraces the individuality of every student, to break barriers, open doors, and discover gifts in one-self and one another, keeping Saint Pius at the forefront of Catholic education.
