Just a few of our second, third and fourth generation tiger cubs!

Rosemont Elementary School first opened its doors in 1935 and has proudly served the Rosemont community for over 80 years. The school is home to 650 students in grades Pre-K - 5 and is located in LaGrange, Georgia. The rural community is rich in school pride and tradition, with many students attending as second, third, and fourth generation tiger cubs. Because lifelong relationships have been established among students, teachers, parents, and community, we commonly refer to one another as our RES Family.

The RES Family feels a tremendous amount of responsibility in ensuring our students are both successful in school and in life. We live daily by our motto, “With Children Our Focus”. Together our mission statement and code of conduct establish the goals and expectations for our students. Our mission is for all students to succeed not only in academics, but as well-rounded individuals who become productive citizens. Our "Be 4" Code of Conduct: Be prompt, Be prepared, Be polite, and Be productive focuses on four key principles that we believe shape students' character and build for success today and in the future.

As a Title I High Performing School, Rosemont Elementary School has earned the reputation of producing high achieving students who are responsible, respectful, and well-prepared. While many of the school's successes can be measured through accolades and awards, we attribute the school culture of high expectations, building of relationships and excellence in instruction as the keys to student success.
