Education is thriving at Johns Creek Elementary. With a student body of over 995 children, classroom teachers and support staff are dedicated to cultivating a positive learning environment. Teachers love their students for who they are right now, but are also invested in who their students will become. With a variety of teaching methods, administrators and teachers are able to support the diverse population within the school’s vision of “Challenging and Engaging Learning For All.” Within our walls, students are challenged daily to delve deeper into the Georgia Standards of Excellence and to live the life of a continual learner through hands-on learning. Johns Creek Elementary is dedicated to building and serving the whole child. We offer after-school enrichment clubs, allowing students to learn chess, get physically fit, explore various mediums of art, or dive into robotics. Johns Creek Elementary fosters an atmosphere of academic rigor and critical thinking. Our stakeholders are devoted to the continual work of exceeding the bar and consistently demonstrate exemplary performance on local and state assessments. It is the goal that our students become collaborative and contributing partners in our community. Collaboration is critical and a key focus at Johns Creek. Teachers serve as the facilitators of learning and students move beyond consumers of information to producers and take ownership of their own learning. The daily use of technology enhances instruction, increases student engagement and supports collaboration at all levels. Our Jaguar community proudly works as a team to ensure the success of each child.
