Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Augusta, Georgia, Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School is a 6-12 fine arts school made up of a diverse population of auditioned students in both the academic and artistic arenas. Currently, fine arts programming is offered in music, dance, visual art, drama, and technical theater by instructors who have trained all over the world in their respective professions. Students receive academically rigorous hands-on experiences in all subjects from instructors who consistently pursue academic excellence in their respective fields. Opportunities are provided for students to receive high school credit in their middle school years and college credit in their high school years through AP courses and Dual Enrollment through our local colleges and university systems. Our guidance office works tirelessly to ensure that students are supported in their collegiate pursuits, and nearly 100% of our students enroll in college right after high school. Through intricate partnerships with our families and local businesses, Davidson offers students real world experiences that perpetuate a lifetime of community involvement. These unique characteristics and opportunities provide our students with working knowledge to succeed in any undertaking, thus preparing them for a lifetime of productive learning.
