Naples Bayside Academy tucked away on Naples Island is fondly known as the "island jewel" serving over three generations of long Beach children. Built in 1925, the quaint school is the center of the community. Naples has continued throughout its 90 year history to be one of the highest performing elementary schools in the district and the state.

Our quality team of dedicated professionals deliver a standards-based, rich curriculum meeting the needs of every child. In our positive climate, children reach their highest potential. In writing, our focus area, we developed a common language based on common core writing standards, trained staff to analyze school-wide writing and set individual mini lessons that developed professional writing skills in our children. Our student authors walked the red carpet amid paparazzi at community Open Mic Nights.
