Country Springs Elementary is dedicated to excellence for every child. Through a shared commitment between students, parents, and staff, we believe that all students can learn and succeed. Administrators, specialists, and teachers implement innovative and differentiated instructional practices so all students meet the rigor of the Common Core State Standards. Across the disciplines, students are taught and expected to use 21st century skills of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. Our motivational school-wide baseball theme fosters an atmosphere of teamwork. All students are considered CHAMPs, which is an acronym that stands for: Communicate in complete sentences, Have learning tools ready, Always try your best, Make sure you are respectful, Pay attention. These school-wide expectations set a high standard for behavior and academic excellence. Country Springs has a reputation of having a strong visual and performing arts program. All students have the opportunity to participate in multiple major performances either in the form of a play or musical during their tenure at Country Springs to support their speaking and listening skills and to promote self-confidence. Country Springs teams with its parent community to ensure our students have a safe and caring environment while building character to promote well-rounded students. The partnership within our unique school community ensures our All-Star students are prepared for college, career, and citizenship. Country Springs… “Where Education is a Hit!”
