St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School - Rogers, AR

St. Vincent de Paul School (SVdP) is a PreK-8th grade Catholic school, currently serving 351 students from Rogers, Bentonville and surrounding areas in NW Arkansas. A mission statement of “Faith, Knowledge, and Service” permeates the day-to-day operations of the school, giving teachers and students a guide to focus on academic and personal excellence, faith formation, and community service. Our students come from around the world and throughout the U.S. and represent the growing diversity of cultures and geographic origins in NW Arkansas. Our committed staff works together to meet the individual needs of our students “where they are” through comprehensive personalized math and reading learning progression plans and online science and social studies “techbooks” that adjust to a student’s language and reading abilities. We leverage a computer lab, science lab, SmartBoards, 182 Chromebooks and a K-8 Computer Science curriculum to deliver an interactive, collaborative, and personalized 21st century education. Our students have scored in the top 15% nationally in both reading and mathematics on standardized tests in every year of the five-year evaluation period. We are a “school family” that learns together, worships together, and plays together through our school clubs, athletic programs, musical performances, New Family Mentor Program, and more. Our school community embraces people of need through student service and food collections for the SVdP Food Pantry, prayers, visits and financial support for twelve sister schools in Bombardopolis, Haiti, and through our endeavors to provide an affordable Catholic education through church subsidies, an endowment fund, and tuition assistance.
