West Branch High School is a public high school located in Beloit, Ohio. Rural and small town in nature, the district has been in existence since 1960, currently with an enrollment of approximately 2,200 students, 700 of whom are at the high school. With a rich tradition in academics, over 90 course offerings, post-secondary classes and 41 extra-curricular activities, West Branch Local Schools have attracted over 300 open enrollment students to the schools.

Each year, West Branch High School has exceptional passing rates on state assessments and has received numerous awards for outstanding accomplishments. These accolades are made possible by the commitment to excellence shown by the staff, the students and the community. Staff members are regularly involved in professional development and collaboration to maximize their effectiveness in the classroom and to help foster the development of the students. Outside of the classroom, activities are equally important to the experience at West Branch High School, as evidenced by the number of students who participate in extra-curricular activities.

As the world is changing, so is West Branch High School. The school recognizes that it, too, must adapt its educational procedures to meet the needs of students and prepare them for success in an ever-changing world. Even though the building, staff and programs may have changed over time, it relies on established traditions to continue to serve its students and community.
