The school staff, through Professional Learning Communities, unite to achieve a common purpose and clear goals, work together in collaborative teams openly sharing successes and failures, seek out promising learning strategies to improve student achievement on a continuing basis, monitor each student’s progress, explore the use of evolving technology to enhance learning opportunities, and demonstrate a personal commitment to the academic success and general well-being of all students and staff.
District leaders have provided support for a shared leadership approach which has empowered all staff members, creating a professional atmosphere where all are focused on the "whole" child, promoting collegial dialogue across content areas, and encouraging a willingness to think "out of the box" by trying new and innovative approaches that meets the specific needs of our students and community.
