Spring Avenue is positively Blue Ribbon worthy! The entire community remains bonded together with a single passion and goal - to do that which is best for each and every child. The tireless efforts of parents, staff, administration, volunteers, and first responders have created an environment where the best education is always provided. This requires clear vision and focus on continual improvement with high expectations for all! Spring Avenue students achieve at very high rates. The community provides students with the resources to come to school ready to learn and comes together as one in times of need and celebration. The focus of the staff on the academic progress for each child maximizes their growth and learning. Professional development is centered on the goal of helping each child reach their potential. In addressing the whole child, Spring Avenue provides many opportunities for students to develop their talents everywhere. The "After 3" program provides opportunities for community members, teachers, parents, and staff to facilitate classes that will inspire students to pursue even more interests including yoga, Dough with Della, Chess Club, and Lego Mania. The summer CONNECT program offers a myriad of classes that span all subjects and all grade levels. Math Olympiad, Speech Team, choir, band, orchestra, leadership club, and an annual Writing Festival round out the offerings and help students discover their talents. Spring Avenue focuses on the whole child to help them grow. The school is committed to finding the balance between striving to improve and celebrating successes.
