The High School of Saint Thomas More (STM) serves students from a variety of backgrounds. Families choose STM because they wish for their students to grow in a Christ-centered environment. Because they sacrifice their time, talent, and treasure to send their children to STM, parents and guardians are heavily invested in the school community. Without their support, STM would suffer. With their support, STM thrives.

Its homework policy sets STM apart. When students fail to turn in a homework assignment on time, teachers refer them to the academic study hall held daily after school. Here, students take the opportunity to remedy their error and gain the knowledge that teachers intended them to gain. This places the responsibility for learning on the students and helps them to understand that their primary duty, academics, takes precedence over extracurricular activities and athletics.

In STM’s 14 year history, ninety-nine percent of all STM graduates have attended post-secondary colleges and universities all over the nation. The remaining 1% of STM graduates have enlisted directly in our nation’s military. Over $5.5 million in merit scholarships were awarded to students of the class of 2013. Sixty-seven percent of this graduating class attended a four-year academic institution, and thirty-three percent attended a two-year institution. The hard work of STM students has garnered 4 state athletic championships, numerous regional and sectional athletic victories, multiple appearances at state music and math team competitions, and countless hours of service to the local and global community.
