NBRS Badge for Blessed Trinity Catholic High School

Blessed Trinity Catholic High School - Roswell, GA

The Mission Statement

The Mission Statement's four pillars: Spiritual, Academic, Artistic, Athletic

Blessed Trinity grew very quickly, opening with 164 freshmen and 55 sophomores in the fall of 2000, and growing to 840 students within three years, with a current enrollment exceeding 950. BT students perform over 25,000 hours of community service each year. The BT Habitat for Humanity chapter was recognized by Habitat International as one of the top five campus chapters in the United States. The curriculum includes 23 Advanced Placement courses, and last year 143 students were named AP Scholars. In addition, all Blessed Trinity students take a minimum of three semesters of coursework in both fine arts and business/technology. The fine arts program has eleven productions a year in drama (plays, musical, 10-minute play festival, Improv Show), music (choir, a cappella group, symphonic band), and dance. The 23 sports teams have won 29 state titles. The emphasis on sportsmanship was recognized statewide in 2011 when the Georgia Athletic Directors Association honored BT's athletic director as the all-classification Athletic Director of the Year, singling out Blessed Trinity's quality program from over 400 in Georgia. In 2007 Blessed Trinity began a house system. All students are randomly placed into one of eight houses, and within each house, into one of five families, representing all grade levels. With new Blessed Trinity students coming each year from over 50 middle school programs, the house system helps students assimilate quickly, feel comfortable around older students, and be a part of something more intimate than their grade level.
