The mission of Matthew C. Perry Elementary School is to empower students to achieve excellence in scholarship, character, and citizenship as independent lifelong learners. The school’s success is enhanced by strong stakeholder and command support. Perry’s partners and volunteers are Samurai-Strong, fostering and modeling high expectations for our students throughout the year. There is often no distinction between parent- and non-parent volunteers. Selfless men and women contribute their time and talent to empower Perry’s students to become altruistic citizens of strong character.
