Franklin Police & Fire High School opened in the fall of 2007. We are the first of its kind, in the nation, to offer a rigorous college & career readiness curriculum with a public safety program. Our district’s mission statement, "Preparing Every Student for Success in College, Career and Life" is mirrored in our own school’s core beliefs and vision statement: "Through collaborative efforts among all stakeholders, Franklin Police and Fire High School will provide a model educational environment that promotes academic rigor, life-long learning, leadership and service in the community." Our students aspire to careers in the public safety arena. As the only uniformed public school in our district, the leadership skills permeate throughout the community. The school’s core values: "Respectful, Accountable and Responsible" are an integral part of Franklin’s cultural spirit. Traditions are woven into a daily school routine. A morning formation provides an opportunity to reinforce Franklin’s core beliefs. Formation provides focus for the day, recognizes and celebrates accomplishments, as well as strengthens student accountability. These values and expectations resonate long after the school day has ended. We strive to teach our students to be life-long learners. We will continue to strive for student success as we believe that failure is not an option. Our success is galvanized by one word - "Together!" Together we will make a difference in the lives of our students. Together, we will overcome the challenges that await us. Together, we will SUCCEED!
