The success of Garrisonville Elementary School is shown in numerous ways from the dynamic school culture to the students’ academic achievement. The academic excellence shown through consistent high performing test results are indicators of the powerful culture and love for learning felt throughout the halls of “Gator Land”.

Garrisonville has consistently performed with excellence on the Virginia State Standards of Learning testing and has consistently met all AYP/ AMO requirements. GES has received the Governor’s Award for Academic Excellence and was selected one of the top 10 schools in the state of Virginia by Northern Virginia Magazine

All members of the Garrisonville community live the motto “Going the Extra Mile”! This is indicative in our consistent and outstanding school-wide performance year after year. We have a proactive partnership where we concentrate specifically on giving our very best effort in all that we do for each child.
