NBRS Badge for Holy Rosary Academy
Holy Rosary Academy - Nashville, TN

Holy Rosary Academy is a Catholic elementary school located in the Donelson area of Nashville, Tennessee. We are one of 17 elementary schools in the Diocese of Nashville.
Holy Rosary Academy‘s commitment to excellence is steeped in a sixty-year tradition where students celebrate their faith and grow. As our community continues to diversify, administrators and parents build a program that weaves our faith traditions with technology and forward-thinking methodologies. Students learn in an environment that promotes critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
Thanks to the contributions of time and talent from our parents, our students produce and anchor daily live broadcasts of WHRA. Students think on their feet as they create an informative and entertaining production. WHRA is available through our school website so families can share in this critical part of our day.
In keeping with our rich traditions, students take an active role in Mass and prayer alongside community members. Masses are student-centered with each grade level responsible for the liturgy. Serving others is part of our daily routine. Students, teachers, and parents work together to support the needs our community. Whether the needs are local or global, students see themselves as active participants in service. Not only do they make contributions they also implement their own initiatives throughout the school year.
Parent and community involvement is essential to realize our vision. Parents are active in many aspects of school life. They create and teach art classes, attend parent forums, and plan school and community events. Their expertise drives our technology and academic programs forward. By actively involving our parents and community in meaningful roles in school life, we become a true family.
