Loganville-Springfield Elementary School is located in southern York County, Pennsylvania. Over the years the student population has increased and diversified. Specifically, new families from Maryland have chosen to move into the school’s beautiful, rural community.

Loganville-Springfield serves 420 students in grades K-3. In addition to the core curriculum, the school offers gifted and learning support services, reading support (including Reading Recovery), speech and language support, hearing itinerant services, guidance, instructional support services, and occupational and physical therapy. Loganville-Springfield students experience daily instruction in one of these specialty areas: art, music, physical education, library, and technology.

The proven strong academic achievement of the school is a result of differentiating instruction for each child. After identifying student strengths and challenges through a variety of assessments, the goal of the Loganville-Springfield teachers is to wrap a curriculum around a child rather than force a child into a standard curriculum. Teachers regularly communicate with one another to determine how best to meet the needs of every child.

The Loganville-Springfield Elementary staff is most proud of providing students and families with a positive school environment. Fueled by the formula of: Success = 15% Skill and 85% Attitude, teachers recognize the importance of maintaining a positive culture. Rapport-building and connecting with each student is of utmost importance in the school. The goal of all Loganville-Springfield stakeholders is to go beyond a mere respectful relationship to one that demonstrates genuine care and concern for students. As a result, teachers, the custodian, nurse, cafeteria employees, and a top-notch secretary make all of our parents and students feel special.

Loganville-Springfield maintains a positive environment and its “School Family” atmosphere anchors the school’s success!
