Saint Maria Goretti is a vibrant Catholic community located north of Indianapolis in Westfield, Indiana. Saint Maria Goretti serves over 460 students in grades Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. The school has offered a quality Catholic education since 1996. As students, staff, parents, parishioners, and other stakeholders enter our school doors they immediately notice our school’s mission:

Let it be known to all who enter here that Jesus Christ is the reason for this school, the unseen but ever present teacher in all its classes, the model for its faculty, and the inspiration for its students.

This is the main thing that sets our school apart from the many high achieving public schools in our community.

As we model the teachings of Jesus Christ daily within our school, we also strive to reach our vision with each of our students. This vision is to develop each child in mind, body, and spirit. In order to make this vision a working goal for our students and staff, we state this vision pledge at the beginning and end of each day:

I am building the Kingdom of God today!
I am doing the right thing today!
I am treating people right today!
I am working my brain!
I am happy and healthy!
Saint Maria Goretti – pray for us!

This pledge is the focus of the school and provides the guiding principles for our students. The different parts of this pledge are measured by various data points to allow our community to know the progress towards this vision.
