Since 1917, Saint Francis Xavier School has been dedicated to providing students with a strong academic foundation while offering a nurturing environment to foster faith, confidence and service to others. Our rigorous academic core, combined with an award-winning Service Program, performing arts tradition and non-cut sports program enable us to cultivate well-rounded students that graduate with an intrinsic desire to use their educational gifts to improve not only their lives, but the lives of those around us.
Academically, our students excel. We consistently average two to three percentage points higher than all other schools within our district on standardized assessment testing. Additionally, our challenging curriculum meets and exceeds requirements set forth by both the State of Illinois and the Archdiocese of Chicago's Office of Catholic Education. Recognizing that technology continues to change and shape the world around us, we prepare our students by utilizing the latest technology within the classroom and educate students on the personal responsibilities that come with technology usage.
The Saint Francis Xavier Service Program actively engages our entire student body (from preschool through 8th grade) to become the hands and feet of Christ. Our nationally recognized program not only strengthens the community and helps those in need, but also empowers our students to be the change that affects the world around us.
