St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School - Kennesaw, GA

St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School is setting the world of education ablaze! Located just north of Atlanta in Kennesaw, Georgia, St. Catherine of Siena serves 434 students in Kindergarten through eighth grades.

As a parish school in the Archdiocese of Atlanta, St. Catherine of Siena is accredited through the District-Wide Accreditation Process sponsored by AdvancED (parent company of SACS). St. Catherine of Siena is also a member of the National Catholic Educational Association.

St. Catherine is staffed and administered by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Congregation of Nashville, Tennessee. Additionally, the school boasts a distinguished lay faculty and staff who, with the sisters, faithfully uphold the Dominican pillars that are foundational to the school: prayer, study, community, and service.

Daily instruction in Religion that is centered around formation in faith, morals, and virtue is part of the rigorous academic curriculum at St. Catherine. As part of their formation, students receive the sacraments regularly and often, and the faculty and staff continually develop a school culture centered on Christ, faithful to His Church and the teachings of the Magisterium.

Enhancing the strong academic curriculum is a wide range of extra-curricular activities the school offers: Science Olympiad, LEGO Robotics, choir, private music lessons, band, dance, and athletics. The entire community was extremely proud of the 2011-2012 LEGO Robotics team when they became First Place World Champions at competition in Florida.
