Tritt Elementary has established a wonderful legacy in its 33 year history. Located in eastern Cobb County, Marietta, Georgia, it is surrounded by a community that proudly supports the outstanding efforts of the school’s teachers, students, and staff. From the beginning, Tritt has been known for going above and beyond to create an environment that allows our students to excel academically, physically, and emotionally.

Our mission is “Providing Each Child a Pathway for Lifelong Success”. Not only do we focus on preparing our students academically, but we strive to prepare them to work with others and learn to solve problems collaboratively as they prepare for the future. Building community within our classrooms is a school priority as teachers lead class and morning meetings. These meetings are designed to help students recognize and compliment their peers as well as help solve problems within their classroom community.

We recognize the importance of building the whole child and we are very strategic in delivering rigorous and relevant instruction. Our staff understands the need to design instruction to meet the needs of all students, giving them support as well as providing tasks that will extend and challenge their thinking. Our teachers focus on problem solving strategies and design performance tasks that require the use of those strategies.

With the outstanding support of our Tritt Foundation, our students are provided certified teachers in our Science and Computer labs, supporting our Science and Technology standards. In addition, our PTA provides academic resources to support our Common Core Standards. It is our hope that we will provide our students a strong foundation, empowering their dreams for the future.
