Daves Creek Elementary School, located in Forsyth County, Georgia, embodies the principles of success in education. Since our humble beginnings in 1996, Daves Creek has an undeniable history of student achievement. Under the leadership of Eric Ashton, our students succeed because we provide educational experiences that are engaging and relevant, and our faculty sets high expectations. When you walk through our doors, you will find learning environments which are warm and accepting. Because we are a family of skilled educators who are actively invested in one another’s success, we have a shared spirit of professional collaboration. This collaboration helps ensure we systematically monitor student results to meet our school improvement goals which are purposefully set to the highest standards.
Students learn important life skills by working independently and cooperatively across all academic disciplines. Our teachers focus on an integrated use of technology to help students develop 21st century skills. Through differentiated instruction, students actively explore the curriculum in a variety of modalities to ensure mastery.
Our success would not be what it is today without the invaluable contributions from our community partners, local school council, PTA, and parents. Working closely together, we are able to provide after-school enrichment opportunities in: drama, environmental science, chess, chorus, robotics, and Battle of the Books.
Today, Daves Creek Elementary continues its legacy as a top-performing school in one of the nation’s fastest growing school districts. Our future is bright. With the tradition of excellence established since our beginning, we move forward, embracing our position as a role model within our district and community. We proudly go forward, ever mindful of our ultimate mission: “developing children’s excellence and success.”
