The School for the Creative and Performing Arts at Bluegrass (SCAPA at Bluegrass)
Grades 4 – 8
Administration and school staff welcome and actively seek parent relationships. SCAPA has an active School Based Decision Making Council (SBDM) that opens leadership and committee positions for parents and teachers to make positive contributions to our school, such as decisions regarding school improvement planning, budgeting, and hiring. Additionally, parents and teachers serve on the Coordinated School Health Committee and Friends of the Arts Organization. Parents play vital roles on production committees and assist with academic and arts classes. They chaperone field trips and productions; construct sets and props; design and sew costumes; manage costume, prop and set inventories; and drive, chaperone, and judge speech tournaments. Active parents make SCAPA a thriving, vibrant school. Learn more about SCAPA at Bluegrass.
