NBRS schools leverage the annual award in many ways—from raising student pride and expectations and engaging families more intensely to attracting business and community financial support and volunteers. Another important, sometimes overlooked, lever is how National Blue Ribbon Schools attract district attention, often highlighting practices other district schools may adopt.
