NBRS Badge for Lake Delton Elementary School

Lake Delton Elementary School - Lake Delton, WI

Our community school with high diversity and excellent student achievement.

Our community school with high diversity and excellent student achievement.

Lake Delton Elementary is a community school that serves a culturally diverse community. Over the years, the staff members of Lake Delton Elementary have worked hard to understand the academic data and social-emotional state of our students. When you hear or state the belief that "Learning is for all students," that is what the staff members of Lake Delton Elementary believe, and that is what makes Lake Delton Elementary one of the best elementary schools in the state of Wisconsin.

Our staff members believe that every student should be at or above grade level before they move up to the next grade. To catalyze this belief, Lake Delton Elementary has integrated our Title I and EL Services to better meet the needs of our students. All teachers work closely together to monitor students' needs and offer the targeted support they need to make them successful in the classroom. The teachers implement the response to intervention in the classroom using re-teaching to help students develop mastery of all essential standards.

We are a humble but proud staff that knows that the variable we control in education is our development as better teachers/staff members for our students. With this in mind, we hope to be a model for other schools by believing in each other, using the Professional Learning Community process to examine the data, and pushing ourselves to become the best teachers we can be each year for our students!
