Eastwood Elementary School - Pemberville, OH

Grade level culture talk.

Grade level culture talk.

We have all heard the phrase, "It takes a village to raise a child," and that is modeled at Eastwood Elementary School. We are fortunate to have an elementary school on a campus that also houses our middle and high school students. The interactions between our buildings allow our students to see role models who can help set the standard of what it means to live the Eagle Way.

At the elementary school, we build an understanding of what the Eagle Way means. Doing what's right, doing the best you can, and treating others the way you want to be treated are more than words on banners or T-shirts; it is our way of life. The Eagle Way defines not only our beliefs, but the behaviors needed to create outstanding experiences for our students. It has been amazing to watch students implement the concepts, not only in our elementary but in their daily lives. The Eagle Way now reaches outside of the walls of our school and is embraced as a community standard.

The Eastwood Community values each child's education. Parents and community members are engaged in seeing all children grow. The entire district is a hub of interaction for our community, whether it is a music program, an athletic event, or an assembly for Veterans Day. Together, we are striving to create ELITE experiences for our students. These experiences result in each student becoming "The Best Version of You."
