At PS 46Q, we are not only a community, we are a family. We (parents, guardians, and staff) work diligently and collaboratively to ensure that all of our students thrive to become productive and innovative 21st century citizens. Our motto is "Learning today. Leading tomorrow." We have a diverse and beautiful population of students of all backgrounds and ability levels which include English as a New Language Learners and Students With Disabilities. We are an accessible school building and have the highest number of Students With Disabilities in our district. This includes highly specialized programs such as Horizon (ASD/Autism Spectrum Disorder) and ACES (Academic, Career, Essential Skills) self-contained programs.

Our administration, teachers, providers, and paraprofessionals work collaboratively to ensure that ALL of our learners have access to engaging and meaningful activities. When you walk into our building, you will see conversations between students, teamwork, and high level questioning as students work cooperatively, serving as resources for each other in a supportive and rigorous environment.
