Jacksonville Elementary

Jacksonville Elementary

Jacksonville Elementary is a school filled with academic, staff and student pride! Our building is celebrating our 26th year of academic excellence in 2020. Located in rural, Central Baltimore County, our students enjoy utilizing the outdoors of our beautiful rural campus to enhance our learning and celebrate both strong student academics and a link to helping others. With 548 students from a large community area, our school hosts kindergarten through fifth grade students. Children are identified early for both advanced academics, where all 4th grade students are provided with advanced math lessons. Our school also provides early Right to Intervention groups for all our learners K to 5, identifying and meeting the individual needs of all students. Our teachers work to provide rigorous and customized instruction for all students.

With support from the school, PTA, and community our goal is to always lend a helping hand. We provide more than 65 holiday meals at Thanksgiving and Winter Holiday. Each month students collect and provide breakfast meals for hundreds of homeless individuals in Baltimore City. We support our county sister school by providing books, snack baskets, and school supplies. This year our school opened its own food pantry to help those right in our own community. Jacksonville is full of pride in our own work academically and in knowing that we can make the world a better place with our giving hands and hearts.
