Walking into any classroom, it is evident that these four ideals drive instruction and promote learning. Teachers and administrators have high expectations for ourselves and our students. Having these expectations is impossible without interlocking relationships, relevance, engagement, and rigor. Students, even the youngest of our learners, embrace expectations, set personal and academic goals, and advocate for themselves and their academic success. Differentiation is a way of life at Brooks. Teachers purposefully ensure that students are working toward goals that are achievable but that challenge them academically. Teachers continually participate in professional learning in order to stay informed with the most recent trends and tools for engagement and rigor.
