Senator Matt Brass speaks to Brooks Students

At Brooks Elementary, we are proud to be a family of learners. Faculty and staff work diligently with a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement to ensure that all students are empowered throughout their educational journey. As we embrace the challenges of this year, we are relying on sound instructional practices, solid relationships, and effective technology integration to continue the rigorous instructional practices whether our students are learning online or in person. Our teachers and families are ready to embark on whatever may come our way in the upcoming months.

Brooks Elementary relies on the four pillars of relationships, relevance, engagement, and rigor to ensure student success. Walking into any classroom, it is evident that these four ideals drive instruction and promote learning. Teachers and administrators have high expectations for ourselves and our students. Having these expectations is impossible without interlocking relationships, relevance, engagement, and rigor. Students, even the youngest of our learners, embrace expectations, set personal and academic goals, and advocate for themselves and their academic success. Differentiation is a way of life at Brooks. Teachers purposefully ensure that students are working toward goals that are achievable but that challenge them academically. Teachers continually participate in professional learning in order to stay informed with the most recent trends and tools for engagement and rigor.

At Brooks Elementary we work together, we learn together, and we achieve together. WE ARE ONE!
