IDEA Quest College Preparatory (IQCP) strives to eliminate the educational gap that exists throughout its surrounding low socio-economic communities by matriculating 100% of its students to and through college. By establishing high investment, constant communication between all stakeholders, and a commitment to accountability and academic excellence, IQCP leaders set a high achievement bar, and students rise to meet it.

From the onset, all stakeholders -- students, parents, teachers and staff -- are invested in the goal of 100% college matriculation which leads to consistency in teacher and student retention. The "team and family" culture bonds its members in the constant quest towards the ultimate goal of college for all. This culture is evident in each student-teacher relationship, college field lesson trips, academic and sports competitions, and in every classroom discussion. Additionally, IQCP fosters a desire to serve the community and citizenship as students complete 125 community hours throughout their four years of high school.

Vertically aligned systems, procedures, curriculum and expectations begin in 6th and continue through 12th grade, ensuring that students are successful and won't fall through the cracks at any point. Staff are committed to respond in a 24-hour turnaround time to parent and student inquiries. Important information is communicated to all stakeholders on a daily and weekly basis using school approved software systems.

Finally, teacher accountability, through weekly coaching conversations, daily observations, and data debriefs, ensures that the means are meeting the ends. These systems guarantee that structures are aligned across the campus and expectations are met in every classroom for every student. Data tracking is continually performed throughout the school year as a marker of progress towards meeting goals.
