The mission of Carlisle-Foster's Grove Elementary School is to weave the fabric of student success! Nestled among pastures and farms in rural Upstate South Carolina, the heartbeat of our school is fueled by intentional relationships that build a culture of efficacy among teachers and students. Through collaborative efforts with teachers, parents, and community, we maximize every moment, every day to weave together the knowledge, life, and career skills that ensure student success. Our faculty and staff are focused on students' success every day, ensuring every student is reaching his or her full potential. Through shared decision making and focusing on what is "right by kids," we have closed achievement gaps, increased our test scores, and most importantly, provided a learning environment where every student is a masterpiece!

Our school promotes critical thinking skills and strategies to solve real-world problems, in accordance with best practice and current research. Our teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators meet in Teaching and Learning Teams collaborating on standards-based curriculum and instruction and planning next steps to meet each student's needs. Through guided instruction in literacy and math, we meet students where they are and scaffold learning so they reach proficiency and beyond. Students take ownership of their learning and have pride in setting and reaching goals.
