Character Breakfast recognizing students for being Kind, Respectful, & Responsible

Glenmont Elementary has served as a high achieving, positive learning community ever since the doors of our school first opened in 1957. We continuously strive to improve to provide an excellent education for our students. Our school offers a full range of academic programs led by our dedicated faculty. The faculty play an instrumental role in curriculum development, the hiring of faculty members, and guiding decision-making at Glenmont. This is all made possible with wonderful support from our families, our generous PTA, school and district staff, and the Board of Education. We are dedicated to meeting every student's needs in our increasingly diverse community, through regular data team meetings, the creative use of technology, and tiered supports for academics and behavior/emotional programming.

Glenmont Elementary has always been a place where kindness is cultivated and treasured. Our students receive instruction and support in our core values, learning to "Be Kind, Respectful, and Responsible." These values are promoted in school-wide displays and programs, such as our Glenmont Gold program, and Character Breakfasts. In addition, we focus on teaching our students the importance of doing good in the world as well as giving back to the community. "Care about yourself; care about the people and things around you." Glenmont's motto exemplifies the spirit of our school. It truly is the positive relationships we have nurtured here - whether with teachers, staff, students, families, or the larger community - that make our school the wonderful place it is. Glenmont cares.
